WHO: New & Current dancers interested in our Competition Team, Company and Elite Team for both Hiphop and Industry (jazz, contemporary, modern, open, etc.).
WHAT: We have (4) different types of teams, we have hiphop only, industry only (jazz, contemporary, modern, open, etc.) and Premier (Intermediate skill level)/Elite (advanced skill level) teams.
Premier (intermediate skill level)/Elite (advanced skill level) teams do both Industry and hiphop (this is the preferred type of team member we are looking for. We’d like to develop dancers who are open to compete in multiple genres, which make our dancers strong artists and athletes.
COST: Visit COMPETITION TEAM page for the list of the competition dues and monthly tuition flat rate. There is no cost to audition.
WHEN: Friday, June 17th. 4-5:30pm MINI/JR age group (ages 6-10)
5:30-7:00pm TEEN/ SR age group (ages 11-19)
HOW TO AUDITION:
Register below on the appropriate age group for the in-person audition
At audition, kids will be lead through a short warm-up and learn a short combo then be asked to attempt any skills listed below for the appropriate age group
Parents are able to watch next door at our Elevate Dance Apparel space on live stream (parents not allowed in the studio space during auditions)
AFTER AUDITION:
We will send out an email to the parents/dancers who made the team
Dancers who made it will also be aware of which team they were placed (Hiphop Only, Industry Only, Premier or Elite Team)
All Team dancers that make the team are required to take one of our summer July Intensives (unless discussed with one of our team instructors) *Dancers who attend a higher level dance institution’s summer intensives, such as Joffrey, Julliard, etc. are exceptions but still must be discussed with the team instructors.
